Honda Civic Tour (My Chemical Romance)

Last night was by far the best night I have ever experienced in my life.

My sister and I arrived at the Jiffy Lube Live at around 6PM (an hour before Manchester Orchestra were going to go on). First we saw the Blink bus, and we looked for the MCR one, but we didn’t see it.

Then we met up with a few friends that we knew were coming. They were waiting for two more people so we stayed with them. Whilst doing so we helped direct the traffic of the people into separate lines as they were all going into one massive queue when they could have lined up in several other locations. I didn’t really participate in this, I just sat there awkwardly, shaking because I was still in utter disbelief that I was going to see my heroes.

Finally the other two arrived and we went into the line to get our bags and tickets checked. We got in and we saw the stairway to heaven (it was really long haha) and climbed it. And then we saw the HUGE stadium and I flipped out all over again. We quickly found our seats and then went to buy merch, I got two shirts and the poster :) We went back in and Manchester Orchestra came on. They were good, I liked them. The crowd was apparently calling the lead singer Ryan Dunn and he was thanking them. They played for around 50 minutes.

Then they finished and I was shaking and freaking out and just SO EXCITED:

And then…they were there. And everything was perfect. I sang every word and jumped the entire time and I was just so humbled that they were there, that I was in their presence. Here is the set list:

Yes, it was hits, yes, it was considerably shorter than Blink’s performance, yes I wish I could’ve been in the pit because I was the only one jumping up and down in my section, but it was still the most amazing experience. It was absolutely beautiful. I screamed during House of Wolves, danced like I didn’t care during Planetary, lost myself in Kids, sang my heart out during WTTBP, rocked out in Mama and Teenagers, and cried throughout I’m Not Okay and Famous Last Words.

Gerard. Gerard was everything I knew he would be, he was sassy and he looked like a porn star at times (DESTROYA!!! and MAMA, oh jesusssss), but I loved watching him. I’m not entirely sure, but I think I heard him yell “Fuck me!” at one point. I was very much okay with that. He also kicked open one of the balloons that had glitter confetti in it at one point, which was so badass!!! Here are a few shitty pictures of him (sorry, I was moving the entire time):

Mikey was great, he did his little head bob thing, and he wore his Art is The Weapon shirt, ARMSSSSS HNNGG!!! I’m pretty sure he was smiling, too :D

Frank was jumping around EVERYWHERE and wearing a fucking TIE AND SWEATER god I was slain….he looked VERY attractive O.O I don’t know how he can wear a sweater in that weather!

OKAY, RAY FUCKING TORO. HE. WAS. KILLING. IT. He was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! Shredicone was pounding this shit out of the drums and he sounded awesome.

I got OLOT of videos, and a good number of photos, though they were all pretty bad quality. Here is the best one:

Thank you for reading this, I had SO much fun!!!!!!!!! If you want to see more horrible pictures of MCR, just ask me :D
